DX³ is Legrand's modular protection family, the MCBs, RCCBs and RCBO units that go into the distribution board behind every Legrand modular wall. The default protection set for Indian residential, commercial and institutional Legrand panels, coordinated with the Ekinox³ DB on the upstream side and with DPX³ / DMX³ on the heavy-load main side.
Stocked through the authorised channel in the ratings and sensitivities contractors actually call out on a real BoQ, B-curve MCBs for resistive loads, C-curve for general commercial, D-curve for motor-start, and the 30 mA RCCB plus 100/300 mA equipment-protection units that sit at the main.
DX³ is organised by protection function, MCBs for over-current, RCCBs for earth-leakage, RCBO for combined units, plus the supporting accessories that complete the DIN-rail row.

DX³ is the modular layer of a Legrand panel. Above it on the heavy side sit DPX³ MCCBs (for the panel main and large-feeder outgoings) and DMX³ ACBs (for industrial main switchgear). Below it on the wall side sits the modular wiring family, Myrius, Mylinc, Arteor or Allzy. The protection coordination across DX³ and DPX³ is published by Legrand as selectivity tables, so a panel designer can verify by reference that an upstream DPX³ MCCB will clear a fault before the downstream DX³ MCB does.
