Finolex electrical conduits are manufactured from a specially formulated rigid PVC (RPVC), engineered to IS 9537 Part 3 and BS EN 61386-21. The full range for concealed and surface electrical wiring installations, in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

Finolex categorises its electrical conduits by mechanical-stress rating, Light (LMS), Medium (MMS) and Heavy (HMS), and by physical size. All grades are ISI-marked, fire-retardant and rated for continuous service from −5 °C to +60 °C, suitable for the full range of electrical wiring applications.
Thinner-wall conduit for normal concealed wiring where mechanical loading is light: interior residential walls, suspended ceilings, conduit-in-conduit runs.
The day-to-day workhorse, with sufficient wall thickness for commercial and most residential applications. The default specification on most BoQs in our area.
Thicker-wall conduit for industrial and outdoor runs where the conduit may bear physical loading or exposure. The specification when the spec-writer is being careful.
ISI Circular Box and Deep Circular Box, in 1-way / 2-way / 3-way / 4-way configurations with lid. Plus dedicated Fan Box (with rod) for ceiling fan installations.
Slip-type bends and inspection bends for direction changes, couplers for straight joints, space-bar saddles for clean surface mounting along walls and ceilings.
Two standard colours, used to identify runs on site: Black for electrical, Ivory for non-electrical / ELV.
Electrical conduit looks like a commodity. It isn't.
Three ISI-marked mechanical grades cover the full envelope of electrical wiring installations: LMS for residential and concealed runs with low mechanical loading, MMS as the day-to-day workhorse for commercial and most residential work, and HMS for industrial and exposed runs where wall thickness has to carry impact. Matching the grade to the loading at the BoQ stage is the small spec decision that keeps cost and protection in proportion for the life of the building.
Finolex publishes three grades, three ISI marks, three engineered specifications. We carry all three in our Nagpur warehouse (plus the matching electrical-conduit fittings and colour options) so an electrical contractor doesn't have to consolidate from three suppliers for a single project.
