Hager India assembles Novello+ distribution boards locally for the Indian configuration set (SPN, TPN, Vertical TPN, Phase-Segregated and Flexi variants) per IS 8623-III. Each variant is a different DB shell with a coordinated internal layout, designed to fit a specific installation pattern. The internals are common (the DIN rail, the phase bars, the neutral terminal) so a contractor learns one product and reuses across configurations.
Residential DB. 4-way to 18-way configurations. Single-door IP30 standard; double-door IP43 for service-shaft or under-staircase placement. The DB for an apartment, a bungalow, a small office, a kitchen sub-board.
Commercial workhorse. 4-way to 24-way TPN configurations for retail mains, hotel-floor sub-boards, hospital OPD distribution, office-floor mains. Single-door and double-door variants available.
The TPN layout, rotated to a vertical bus. For panel rooms where wall-width is constrained but vertical space is available, old-building retrofits, service-shaft installations, narrow utility cupboards.
Site-reconfigurable internals. DIN rails, phase bars and neutral terminals can be repositioned during fit-out as the load schedule changes. For projects where the BoQ is still moving when the panels arrive on site.

Most commodity DB neutral terminals are a fixed-bore receptacle, a wire of the right gauge slides in cleanly; a wire of a different gauge either rattles or jams. Novello+ uses an adjustable IP2x neutral terminal that holds its grip across the wire-size range without insertion error. Better service connection, better long-term thermal performance, fewer service-call faults from loosened neutrals.
IK09 is the IEC impact-resistance rating that the enclosure withstands a defined mechanical impact (10 joules) without losing its IP protection class. A Novello+ DB sitting in a plant-room corridor takes a knock from a passing trolley and continues to seal against dust and water. Lower-grade enclosures crack, lose IP rating, and a humid season later, develop moisture-related faults.
The IP rating of a DB enclosure is two coordinates: solid-particle ingress and liquid ingress. A standard IP30 single-door DB blocks tools and small objects but offers no liquid protection, fine indoors. An IP43 double-door DB resists splashing water from any direction, suitable for service-shaft, garage-adjacent or outdoor-adjacent placement. IP54 adds dust-tight sealing, for industrial or external installations. Neoprene gaskets on the outer enclosure seal these grades reliably.
